  • Arrange a Time Slot online on LBC website www.999life.org or call us on +91-281-2234242/43
  • LBC welcomes donations and enquiries all 7 days a week, from 09:00 am to 09:00 pm.

In-house / Community Place Donation Camp

  • Provide a suitable location.
    • A large, open space that facilitates separate zones for conducting confidential eligibility assessments and collecting donations.
  • Publicize the blood donation camp.
    • Reach a large audience - within organization and in the community, to sign up maximum donors.   
  • Schedule a time slot for each donor.
    • Follow up during the camp to ensure donors don’t miss their appointments.
  • Reach out to every donor after donation.
    • Appreciate their kind deed.

Life Blood Centre support

  • Planning Assistance
    • A dedicated LBC representative will assist to plan and organize the blood drive.
  • Recruitment Tools
    • LBC will assist to determine number of donors needed and in process of recruitment.
  • Equipment & Supplies
    • LBC will bring and set up everything needed at the location, including refreshments.  
  • Trained Staff
    • LBC staff will confidentially screen donors and collect donations, safely and professionally.

 

Blood Donation Camp

Planning a Blood Donation Camp

  • Work with the LBC representative throughout the process; LBC will provide all assistance, advice and answers.
  • Set the date well in advance to avoid scheduling conflicts.
  • Select a location with a large open space (cafeteria, gym, conference room) with enough space to ensure donor interviews in privacy and confidentiality.
  • Recruit volunteers to help sign up donors and to ensure efficient camp organization.
  • Advertise the camp to a large audience.

On Camp Day

  • Arrive early to meet the LBC team which will arrive up to one hour prior to the first appointment in order to set up.
  • Be available throughout the day to coordinate with the LBC camp supervisor.
  • Follow up with scheduled donors regarding their appointment.
  • Organize and manage the volunteers schedule to ensure the registration and refreshments areas are efficiently attended.    

End of the Camp

  • Feel good about helping to save lives by facilitating blood donation.
  • Get your certificate and letter of appreciation from LBC showing number of units collected.
  • Celebrate success by sharing the achievement with donors and volunteers and reinforce this positive experience with motivation to repeat the drive as an annual event!
  • Provide feedback to LBC to enhance the effort to make blood donation camps a positive experience for participating organizations and donors.
